Peter Cromer, aged 81 years, died at his home on North Mulberry Street at 12:30 p.m. today.  Mr. Cromer was born in Franklin County, Pa., March 14, 1814, removing to this city about forty years ago.  He was proprietor of the National House at the time of his death.  He leaves a wife and two children.  His son, B.F. Cromer, is a clerk at the Erie freight house and his daughter, Mrs. W.F. Wilson, resides in Findlay.  He has been ill for the past six weeks.  The funeral will probably be held Thursday.
